Trust and Team building skills
What could be better than bouncing around in a
circle of a friends? Or untying the Human knot? Or even climbing
over a log? All in the name of team work and trust.
Setup - Putting on Helmets and
Waist Harnesses.
The FLYING SQUIRREL !!!
You find your self in a shoulder/back harness attached to a long
rope going 60 feet into the air through a pulley. Did I mention
your team has the other end of this rope? You run down the hill,
your team runs opposite of you up the hill. Hey, I didn't know
you could fly! What's to keep the group from tying you off and
breaking for lunch? ;-) Guess that's the 'trust' part. When you
get back on the ground you might want to work on removing the
king of wedgies from your backside.
The gang on the other side of the rope.
Better trust them.
The Vertical Playground Climb up a ladder, a 4x4 with rungs, and even tires to reach the
white rope before 'falling' and joining your team on the ground.
The Leap of Faith ( Pamper Pole )
You want me to
climb a thirty foot pole and jump off of it?! Don't worry you're
in the shoulder harness again. Just jump off the pole and reach
for the trapeze. You'll be lowered to the ground nice and easy.
The Obstacle Course
Climb the side of a tree, work your way through the ropes, swing
on the boards, and belay down. Oh and make sure Little Matt
isn't with you, he tends to break the course!
Little Matt was working his way
through the boards when ¡CRACK! he broke a board clean through.
Everyone in attendance signed that board for him.
