Advancement
Throughout the rest of the year our group
will be working toward the medal that you see on the left.
This is called the Ranger. This is not the only medal that you
may earn. There is also the Gold, Silver, and the Bronze. To
earn the Ranger you must complete the following requirements:
First Aid, Land Navigation, Communication, Leave No Trace,
Cooking, Wilderness Survival, Emergency preparedness, and
Conservation.
Fundraisers
Beef Sticks
Our Group Sold 76 beef sticks and received
a $3 donation in front of the Gresham Fred Meyers on Sunday
the 16th. I want to thank Grace, KC, Kayla, Charlotte, Cody
and Brian. Your Accounts will be credited for those hours that
you sold for.
This sale does not end until the 14th of April. We do have
another chance to sell beef sticks in front of the same Fred
Meyers on the 29th of this month with Troop 210. We will be
passing out more beef sticks if you need more.

Upcoming
Events
Meriwether
We are leaving for
Meriwether on Friday the 21st at 6:00 PM and not returning
until Sunday the 23rd. We will be meeting at the Church
briefly before we leave. Please remember to bring your own
tuna, drinks, and snacks. Also bring a compass for Land
Navigation and warm clothes for the cold weather. Along with
Land Navigation, we will also be hiking up the beach to the
Marine Gardens.
The Encounter -
April 12
We need $7 ASAP for the April 12th and
13th. The staff asks that you please bring a sack lunch and
that they will provide the lunchtime entertainment and a BBQ
dinner. This Weekend will be full of events like knife
throwing, COPE, Archery, Soccer, and more!
Cope Course
We need $20 ASAP to reserve the COPE dates
(August 2nd and 16th). Please let Brian know if you would like
it to be taken out of your scout account.
