Leave No Trace
During the month of May we will be doing
"Leave No Trace." It is pretty simple. Each of us individually
must recite and explain the principles of leave no trace. Then
on our 3 outings (Camporee, Rafting trip, and Meriwether) we
will demonstrate we know the leave no trace principles. The
last thing each of us will have to do is make our own tabletop
display on the Leave no trace principles and how they affect
the environment and attitude of campers.
Fundraisers
Beef Sticks
We finished our beef stick sale on the 12th
and our top sellers were Marietta and Charlotte, who each sold
48 beef sticks. Our group sold 285 beef sticks altogether.
That gave us a $91.20. Good Job Everyone!
Car Wash
We will be doing many joint car washes with
Crew 544 in Gresham this summer to try and raise funds. If you
have any fundraiser ideas please let Charlotte know in
writing.

Upcoming
Events
Multnomah falls hike - April 19th
Everyone agreed to meet at 10:00 am at the
falls. Please bring hiking boots and plenty of water. If you
have any questions, let Charlotte know.
Camporee- May 2nd
- 4th
We will be meeting at a restaurant in
Gresham at 6:00 then up towards Stevenson Washington which is
where Camporee is held. Camporee will cost $20 for the weekend
to cover the food cooked by the adult staff. Things to bring:
Tent, pillow, sleeping bag, extra clothes suitable to the
weather conditions, raincoats, snacks, extra drinks, and a
chair if you have one.
Meriwether- May
16th-18th
This will be the last time we go Meriwether
till about the end of summer if we choose to go again this
year. We will discuss the details on a later date.
Rafting Trip- May
24th
Our crew will be taking a day rafting trip
on the Deschutes River. Bill G. will give more information
about the trip tonight during the meeting. Please, if you have
any questions, ask him and take notes.
