Carwash - August 9th
    This will take place at Thriftway 12:00 till 5:00pm. Barb is going to place an ad in the paper. On July 14th our crew will get together to decide on flyers and design posters. We will be borrowing buckets from Bill, but will buy the other carwash materials at the local dollar store.

Spaghetti Feed - October 10th-11th
    We are going to hold the spaghetti feed at the Masonic Lodge. We will be decorating for an Italian restaurant setting. We will be serving Spaghetti, garlic bread and drinks. This will take place from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm. More planning to come.

Ape Caves - July 13th
Schedule:    
    We will be leaving the Church at 1:00 pm. You need at least 3 sources of light (2 flashlights and one lantern) in your day-pack. Wear warm clothes. It is supposed to be about 50 degrees inside the cave. Bring a sack lunch for afterwards. At the caves we will be enforcing the buddy system. Cost: $1

Cope - July 19th and August 2nd
    Cope will start at 8:30 am and last until about 4:00 pm. Be at Scouter's Mountain by 8:00 am. We will be doing many activities on the ground and in the air. Bring your own sack lunch. Cost: $15 each day

Rafting - July 26th
    We will finally be rafting down the Deschutes River with our guide Bill G. Suggested: Bring a sack lunch and if you want to rent a wet suit. Cost: $10 approximately.

Horse Tail Falls - August 23rd
    This hike has a 175-foot waterfall and the trail goes along the Columbia Gorge and two other trails. Total distance of trail is 3.8 miles. Bring day pack and walking shoes. Cost: $0

Meriwether - September 12th -14th
    We are leaving for Meriwether on Friday the 12th at 6:00 PM and not returning until Sunday the 14th. We will be meeting at the Church briefly before we leave. Please remember to bring your own tuna, drinks, and snacks. Also bring a compass for Land Navigation and warm weather clothes. Along with Land Navigation, we will also be hiking up the beach to the Marine Gardens again. Cost: $10

Railroad ride - October 26th
    We will be taking the Mt. Hood Railroad on an excursion ride. On the train there will be a costume contest for everyone, treats, and a haunted house on the way around Mt. Hood. The train departs at 3:00 pm and does not return until 7:15, and this includes a layover at Parkdale. All trains are heated and have restrooms. Cost: $25.50
